By using the NSDP Certified Professional Directory to locate a decluttering professional, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

All professionals listed in the NSDP Certified Professional Directory are independent business owners. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of the National Society of Decluttering Professionals (NSDP).

Each professional operates their own business and is responsible for:

  • their services
  • their client relationships
  • their scheduling
  • their pricing
  • their policies and procedures
  • Training Completion

Professionals listed in the directory have successfully completed the NSDP Professional Certification training program.

Certification confirms completion of coursework and participation requirements established by NSDP. However, certification does not represent licensing, employment status, or endorsement beyond successful program completion.

Service Style and Approach

Each NSDP Certified Professional brings their own:

  • personality
  • communication style
  • pacing
  • specialties
  • session structure

While professionals are trained using NSDP principles and methods, their services may vary depending on their experience, background, and areas of focus.

Fees and Business Policies

Each professional sets their own:

  • rates
  • session structure
  • packages
  • availability
  • cancellation policies
  • service boundaries

NSDP does not receive a percentage of client service fees.

Any payment arrangements are made directly between the client and the professional.

Client Responsibility

Clients are encouraged to:

  • review the professionalā€™s website or materials
  • ask questions before booking
  • confirm services offered


Selecting a decluttering professional is a personal decision, and clients are responsible for determining whether a professional is a good fit for their needs.

NSDP provides training and certification; however:

Success depends on many factors including client readiness, participation, goals, and circumstances.

Directory Participation Requirements

Professionals listed in the NSDP Certified Professional Directory:

  • have completed NSDP certification requirements
  • maintain active standing within the NSDP professional community (when applicable)
  • agree to represent their services honestly and professionally

NSDP reserves the right to update or remove directory listings if participation requirements are no longer met.
